Alexandra Palace railway

Mick Berg has asked about the miniature railway at Alexandra Palace at Wood Green in London.

“Can anyone help me with information info about the miniature railway in Alexandra Park, Wood Green, North London, (NB not the one in Hastings). This was a wonderful railway, running round the lake. I don’t know the gauge, but the loco was a model of a Gresley A4, diesel-electric I think. I can find no mention of it any where which is strange as it was a terrific railway. It ran from post-war until the early sixties. Please
