A visit to the Ingfield Light Railway on Sunday June 8 for the showed some extensive running on this recently extended railway. The new extension was in operation and effectively two systems were working each charging for separate tickets at £1.50.
There appeared to be some ten or so locomotives running for the fete, plus a Hymek, and all were involved in the very intensive running with locos sharing the hauling of trains of two coaches. A second engine being used for the return journey whilst the first engine was turned on the table. All the locomotives were steaming very well during our short visit
