Lister powered industrial quarry-style locomotive with 1.5 horsepower Lister D petrol engine powering an Eaton hydraulic gearbox. Finished in red, unused and as direct from builder, Robert Sheppard in 2014 using a Lister D agricultural engine.
Lister engined loco of a type used in quarries and industrial locations. True to the spirit of minimum and minimal gauge logos this is not a model of a specific loco but is a locomotive in its own right. Usefully, like many Lister locomotives it’ is regaugable from 7 1/4″ up to 15″ and so is practicable for visiting miniature railways throughout the UK and indeed the world!
The wheels slide along a keyway and lock in place with grub screws and an Allen key. It takes about 5 minutes to set up at a new track.
Seat and controls fit in toolbox at front for transportation.
No couplings as people use different systems.
Measures 6 foot long by 25 inches wide.
