Testing at Ferry Meadows

Before the forthcoming IMechE Challenge to be held at Stapleford on June 26-28 the Interfleet team have been testing at Ferry Meadows Railway. Peterborough.

The team of six travelled down from Sheffield and spent a very long and cold day testing their locomotive up and down the 10 1/4″ track at Ferry Meadows. After a few modifications they will visit again for another day’s testing.

Our pictures by Dave Coging include some taken on the day and a couple taken during last year’s testing. This year’s final design for the bodywork is being kept under wraps until the challenge but apparently it looked very good.
